George Keltika earned a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree in studio and art history at the University of Windsor. Later, he worked as a pictorial artist for an advertising company. He later completed a Bachelor of Education teaching degree. This lead to a teaching position on a First Nations reserve where he worked for two years. In 1988, he was appointed Art Teacher and later Head of Arts at Pickering College in Newmarket Ontario. George is currently retired from teaching.
